One week to vote election community banner.

Election Day is November 3. Let’s get ready together.

Election Day is one week away, and we want everyone in our community to have clear information about how to vote—and somewhere to connect on the day itself.

Take a few minutes today to check your information, decide when you’ll vote, and arrange any transportation or support you need. Check in with a friend or neighbor, too. Sometimes having someone to make a plan with makes the whole process feel more manageable.

Urgent Deadline Today

Want to vote early? There’s a deadline today.

Today, October 27 at 5 p.m., is the deadline to request a Pennsylvania mail-in or absentee ballot.

Registered Chester County voters can also apply, receive, complete, and return their ballot in one visit today at the Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, open until 5 p.m. Bring your PennDOT ID number or the last four digits of your Social Security number.

Make your Election Day plan.

Pennsylvania polls are open Tuesday, November 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Confirm your polling place, choose a time, and put it on your calendar. If you’re in line by 8 p.m., stay in line—you can still vote.

If this is your first time voting at your polling place, bring an accepted photo or non-photo ID.

Already have your mail ballot? You can return it now.

Seal your completed ballot inside the secrecy envelope, place that inside the return envelope, and sign and date the declaration. Your ballot must be received by 8 p.m. on November 3. A postmark does not count.

You can return it at an official county drop box or election office. Return your own ballot unless you qualify for the designated-agent exception.

Spend part of Election Day with us.

The LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County and PFLAG West Chester/Chester County invite you to Party at the Polls, a community gathering where we can encourage each other and have some company throughout the day.

Tuesday, November 3 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Alliance office: 14 Gay Street, Phoenixville

Stop in before or after voting at your assigned polling place, or come by if you’ve already voted. Bring a friend, meet some neighbors, and take a break from following the day on your phone. Whether you’re feeling hopeful, anxious, or simply want to be around community, you’re welcome.

Please share these resources with someone who could use them. We look forward to seeing you and supporting each other on Election Day.

Warmly, The LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County
