OutFest

we asked people in our Chester County community to share their coming-out experiences. We wanted to hear what made it easier, what felt complicated, and where they found people they could be themselves around. Their responses remind us how personal this process is. Even when we recognize something of ourselves in someone else’s story, we each have our own relationships, hopes, and reasons for deciding what to share.
