About the event
The Independence Business Alliance, which is Greater Philadelphia's LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, is coming out to Chester County, and we are hosting them at the Chester County Library in Exton for an afternoon where LGBTQ+ business owners, allied business owners, and the people who make purchasing decisions inside larger organizations can all be in the same room.
The first hour is open networking, which means there is no program and no agenda, just time to find the people you have been meaning to meet.
At two o'clock we will introduce the LGBTEA Business Network and the IBA, and then walk through LGBTBE Certification and Allied SME certification in a presentation and a facilitated discussion, because certification is one of the few concrete tools a small business has for getting counted in supplier programs that would otherwise never see it, and it is worth understanding what the process actually asks of…
