The LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County is deeply concerned by the recent increase in ICE raids across the country — including raids happening here in our own county — and the reports of multiple U.S. citizens being shot in connection with these enforcement actions.
We want to be clear: policies rooted in fear and force do not create safety. They create instability and harm — especially for immigrant communities, communities of color, and LGBTQ+ people who are already more vulnerable to discrimination and targeted systems.
We know many in our community are feeling a mix of anger, grief, fear, and urgency. Those feelings are valid. And we believe this moment calls for response that is grounded, strategic, and led by the communities closest to the impact.

The Love Is Love Gala is our biggest night of the year—a celebration of community, connection, and the belief that LGBTQIA+ people deserve spaces where they can feel safe, supported, and fully themselves.
